After sitting empty for a decade in the Old Post Office Square District, construction is finally
beginning on the 16-story Paul Brown building. Occupancy expected in the summer of 2005.
The building is being renovated for use as 222 rental loft apartments, 130 parking spaces and 20,000
square feet of retail at an expected price of $52 million. Each unit will have at least six windows
with rents starting at $600 and going up to $1600 per month. Building amenities include a rooftop
swimming pool, club room exercise room, laundry rooms on each floor or in the unit itself, a terrace
room and a business center.

Construction has been completed on The Paul Brown
Construction has been completed and the building renovation is finished. The building is now the new home to
Espresso Mod Coffee House, The House Of Jewels and Curves.

Espresso Mod opens in the Paul Brown Building
Espresso Mod, a new downtown coffeehouse, will be holding its Grand Opening on December 9th. The menu will
feature a variety of specialty coffees, frappes, smoothies and iced teas as well as salads, pastries and
gelatos will be available as well. Espresso Mod plans to expand with a lunch menu, including panini grilled
sandwiches, sometime in the early Spring 2006.
