The Lofts at 2020 Washington is now the largest condominium project in downtown. 103 new condominiums are to be built in the eight-story 2020 Washington Avenue Building (formerly known as the Sporting News building) at a cost of about $21 million. The average selling price of a loft condo in the building is about $135,000 per unit. The project includes a 90 space-parking garage (with 40 additional spaces adjacent to the property), a rooftop deck and more. The building has been empty since the Sporting News publication moved in 1969.
