Michael Roberts has purchased the 8-story, turn-of-the century warehouse at 1224 Washington Avenue from Enchanted Lofts for $2.4 million. The building was home to the Cheetah (a three-level nightclub), before it closed in 2000. Roberts is planning to spend another $4.4 million renovating the building for use as rental lofts with retail on the first floor, an art gallery on the second floor and office space on the third floor.
