An 8-story former warehouse building at 1110 Washington Avenue is being renovated into a mixed-use
project named the Vangard Lofts. The $14 million project will consist of 86 residential loft
apartments on floors 2-8. The first floor is being developed as retail space including a gourmet
market, restaurant and winery, and a full service hair salon. 12 unique and open floor plans will be
available rangin from 600 to 1,200 square feet. The units will cost between $630 and $1500 monthly. Building
amenities include on-site garage and parking lot, 24-hour fitness facility, high speed Internet availability,
a resident business center, free central laundry facility and a conference/banquet center.

Copia Urban Winery Opens in Vangard Loft Building
In addition to Copia's main dining room, the restaurant space includes a hideaway courtyard patio with seating
for 200 guests, a wine cellar, an intimate private dining room, an indoor bar, and a banquet room for private
events. Copia also houses a retail wine shop with over 280 wines, high-end wine accessories, and gourmet food
items.
